Rules for Workbenches
Christopher Schwarz is editor of Popular Woodworking and the author of the excellent workbench book Workbenches. He's put together a very good list of rules to use when deciding what workbench to build or buy, what the features mean to you with how you work. You'll find this list very useful when thinking about a bench of your own.
